It was their anniversary, and Aisha was waiting for her husband Rajiv to show up.
Things had changed since their marriage, the once cute couple couldn’t-live-without-each-other had turned bitter.
Fighting over every little things, both didn’t like the way things had changed.
Aisha was waiting to see if Rajiv remembered it was their anniversary!
Just as the door bell rang she ran to find her husband wet and smiling with a bunch of flowers in his hand.
The two started re-living the old days. Making up for fights, then was d plan for champagne, light music And it was raining outside! It was perfect.
But the moment paused when the phone in the bedroom rang.
Aisha went to pick it up and it was a man. “Hello ma’am I’m calling from the police station. Is this Mr Rajiv Mehra’s number?”
“Yes it is!”
“I’m sorry ma’am; but there was an accident and a man died.
We got this number from his wallet; we need you to come and identify his body.”
Aisha’s heart sank.!!! She was shocked!
So you’ve been hurt or maybe you hurt someone else. God can fix it. God may be nudging you this very moment to ask for forgiveness or be willing to forgive. Trust God, listen and act. There is no wrong that God cannot make right.
Following our Creator should be out of compassion, love, and not of war and hatred.
When an innocent life is taken away, the whole humanity dies. Really, I agree. This cycle of bad people getting what they want in expense of innocent lives has long been started. But let us be aware that there is someone greater than us and is the most knowledgeable and powerful. He is behind everything and everything has a purpose. When everything fails, remember that we have faith. Abraham has this kind of faith that his Savior will not allow Isaac to be harmed so he followed what God ordered him. And by that, he is a good person who followed God and was able to glorify Him. Our own actions do not save us. It’s faith.
If Sam did not die, the racial apartheid that the Muslims in America has been experiencing since the 9/11 attack will not surface. Some sense was put in the minds of foolish people barking at the wrong tree. By attacking the innocent Muslims, they’re just making more history of hurt, hatred and death continue.
This movie is so powerful. This movie focusing on Khan as someone with autism has showed its viewers what we can not usually see on our daily lives. Somehow, I’ve been relieved that through this, more people will try to understand those with autism and will not reject or abuse them.
It is not just about the Muslims, Hindu, Jews and Americans. Asians and Westerners. Public and private school students. Filipinos from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. You can’t just limit someone based on the category you have given him/her. You don’t stop them. You’re making the world you’re living in smaller to enjoy the only life you have. To learn more about the world you have a lifetime to explore. Yeah, I learned a lot from it. That’s what you get when you watch a movie that opens your mind to the unspoken conflicts that you experience on your daily life. You know it’s there, but you just haven’t given much thought about it. And after seeing the movie, all the realizations just coming out and givng you a lesson.
kakatapos ko lang mapanood ung My Name is Khan. Grabe siya. Pero sa hiwalay na entry ko na lang sasabihin ung buong reaksyon ko tungkol sa movie. Eto munang quote about love. Kasi malaki ung naging parte nung love kung bakit naging ganon ung takbo nung kwento.
